If you are an ISFSI member, the pricing will be applied automatically once you log in, and you will only see the member price(s) per course as you browse and checkout.

Can I get a refund for a ISFSI purchase?

Full payment is due prior to the start of a class. Late registrations are subject to a 15% increase. No refunds for cancellations will be given after thirty (30) days prior to the start date of the class.

Refunds will not be given for no-shows at a live in-person event.

How long will I have access to my course(s)?

Course expiration's vary from course to course. Specific details will be provided upon registering for a course. Certificates for courses completed will be available indefinitely.

Can more than one person take the course?

No. The courses are intended for individual use. Do not use another individual's login information to register for a course. You must login as yourself to receive a certificate of completion for completing a course.

Finding and Taking Courses

How do I search or browse for courses?

Visit the course catalog page. Courses are organized into three categories: Credentialing, Continuing Education/Online Courses, and Webinars. Click on the category you wish to view to see the course offerings available.

Do I need any special software to take courses?

No, you only need to be connected to the Internet on your computer or mobile device. The courses will launch on any browser, although we recommend you use the most up-to-date version of that browser provided by the vendor.

How do I launch a course?

Once you've registered and/or purchased a course, it will show up when click on the "Dashboard" link in the top menu. Click on the course name to begin. Please note, that a delay start setting may be in affect for the specific course you have registered for. If you can not access the course, please contact ISFSI.

One of the course components won't launch correctly; what do I do?

If a course component does not open or does not "play" correctly, we recommend that you first try clearing your browser cache and restarting the browser (instructions related to each browser can be found here). If that does not help, we suggest launching the course in a different web browser (i.e. try Firefox instead of Safari). You can also try viewing the course on a different device, such as a laptop if you're having trouble on a mobile device or vice versa. Some courses will open in a new browser window/tab, and you may have to disable your pop-up blocker to allow pop-ups temporarily.

If you are still having issues, please contact Membership@isfsi.org for troubleshooting, with as much detail as possible regarding your issue (be sure to include the name of the course).

Do I have to complete a course in one sitting?

No. The system will track your progress in a course and you can pick up where you left off. You can even save your place in a video if you go back to view within one week.

Can I download a course and watch it later offline?

No, you need to have an Internet connection to take a course. However, all courses are mobile-friendly to work on any device.

How do I pass a course?

You must complete all course components to receive your certification of completion. Course components will vary from course to course. Some courses require a live in-person component.
