Curating and Creating Content for Your Learning Management System Course Shell

As part of a series of webinars for the fire service instructor, this webcast session will discuss best practices for enhancing your learning management system (LMS) course shell to better enhance student learning.  In particular, the session will discuss your role as both a curator and creator of content to assist in satisfying course/program learning objectives. The facilitator will also discuss web resources for the curator, and tools to assist with content creation.  Finally, the session will discuss best practices and mandates surrounding content placement on a LMS course shell that are common in the academic setting.

  2. What is the role of the course shell content creator?
  3. Discuss resources for curating course/program content.
  4. Identify technology resources to assist in creating course content.
  5. Describe best practices and mandates surrounding curating/creating content for use in the academic setting
